Cisco Certifications-Grow your IT Career.

Earning any of Cisco's certificates will boost a career in information technology, but how? Salary and career growth are just two of the benefits in store for Cisco certified professionals. Certification sets professionals apart and advertises both their competence and determination.

Information technology training is a great way to build your resume and qualify yourself for competitive jobs in the industry. Having "CCNP" or "CCNA" on your resume is an eye-catcher for information technology recruiters and employers. But how much difference can they really make?

Getting Cisco Training and Certification

Information technology training from Cisco is available directly from the company itself, but it is also available from a variety of third party vendors. The same columnist from Best Syndication also states that there are "solid, reliable websites on the World Wide Web that provide students with elaborate, well-structured and comprehensive materials..."

Researching and finding the best training resource for you can be done easily and efficiently online. Sticking through it and earning your certification is the greater challenge, but doing so will reward a career in information technology with higher growth and salary.

Good luck for your certification!!

Microsoft Student partner- Now its my time to shine!!!

It sounds too good to believe . Folks, I have been selected as a Microsoft Student Partner via an all India selection process and I am heading for an Open Msp meeting this week at delhi, microsoft chamber!!

Okay, now what is this Microsoft Student Partner, that has been buzzing around my life since last past months!!

Microsoft Student Partner's is a worldwide program, to sponsor students majoring in disciplines related to technology. MSP program attempts to enhance students' employability by offering training in skills not usually taught in academia, including knowledge in various Microsoft technologies.

Microsoft is looking for future innovators. Through the Microsoft Student Ambassador Program also called as Student Partners/Rockstar, Microsoft is giving an opportunity for computer science and Information Technology students to be a liaison between Microsoft and your university. Ambassadors plan and host a few events during the school year, introduce students to new Microsoft products and features, and act as a campus contact for Microsoft.

How I became a MSP? Here goes my dream story.

It was late June'10, when I heard about the MSP program from my brother.. The name' Microsoft' somehow caught my year and I knew this program was meant for me. I informed some of my friends, and later filled an online Application form at the website. I cleared a basic technical test and got qualified for Round-2..

Den it was the time for the challenging video rounds,,in which we had to upload a technical and a communication video,,it was damn challenging throughout the journey,,
Finally it was done,,after i cleared the final round,,which was an IT challenge at the imaginecup website!!

Now when I look back upon my journey, All I can say is that love paved the path for my success. I was determined to become one, I won't call it a destiny or sheer luck coz I knew deep inside that there was a MSP hidden inside me. ;-)

As of now, my first and foremost task is to form a Student Tech Club in my college.

If you are passionate about technology and looking for a unique opportunity to share that talent, and if you are a good communicator, then Microsoft looking for you. Motivated non-final-year undergraduate and post graduate students from across India are invited to apply for the Microsoft Student Partner Program. In exchange for sharing your knowledge and participating in fun activities on your campus, you will be getting a whole host of benefits, the chance to connect to like-minded people and gain real-world experience to add to your resume. The program allows selected students to work along with professionals from Microsoft and to be a student representative for Microsoft on their college campus. You get to conduct sessions, workshops and hands on lab in your college. It also gives them access to the free licensed microsoft softwares and an opportunity to explore and discover a whole new range of technologies. There are All India boot camp's every year for MSP's, to ramp your professional skills. Plus, the best Student Partners also get the opportunity to apply for jobs at Microsoft.
